Habitat Management
Undertaking the sustainable management of a broad range of sites and habitats including grassland, woodland, heathland and riverine.

Site Management

Site management plans comprising a range of terrestrial and aquatic environments, the creation of new habitats through planning mitigation or bespoke projects.

Species Mitigation Features
​
The design, construction and monitoring of features such as artificial otter holts and badger setts.

Small scale river restoration
​
Implementing various techniques to enhance and restore river habitats including channel narrowing, installation of flow deflectors, coarse woody debris (CWD), leaky dams/ large woody debris (LWD) and re-establishing natural meanders. Many of these methods are adopted within Natural Flood Management (NFM) schemes.

Habitat creation
​
Planning, designing and installing habitat improvement features including aquatic habitats for water vole, and great crested newt, as well as planting and vegetation clearance.

Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW)

Providing on site environmental and ecological input and observation typically during the construction phase of a project, overseeing works which could impact species or habitats.
